VividSwitcher is a novel software for changing screen resolution
without altering position of desktop icons. While you are watching
online movies, it can change resolutions temporarily to bring the
best experience of a smoother and clearer movie, and then restore
back to the original resolution as you like.
If you like watching online movies or DVDRips, you may always have
a problem: The movie picture turns blur in fullscreen mode. That is
because your desktop resolution is higher than your movie
resolution, which makes the picture overstretched. VividSwitcher
reduces the stretch by changing the desktop resolution, so that the
picture becomes clearer. And your desktop icons are all in their
own position, you do not need to re-arrange it manually after the
resolution restores because the resolution is temporary. This
software does not apply the resolution to your system but only
controls your monitor to be changed.
