This crack is not completely mine, because I got the ╘nrcc╒ file from an unknown source. I had a hard time realizing how to get it to work, as I did not have a license file. After visiting some forums and getting pieces from other cracks, I put up together this zip file which contains all the necessary info for getting Shake 3.50 for Mac up and running. I hope it helps you.

System requirements:
Ñ Mac OS X v10.3.2 or higher
Ñ Any Power Mac G5 or Xserve G5. Power Mac G4 or PowerBook G4 with 800MHz or faster PowerPC G4 processor or Xserve G4 with 1GHz or faster PowerPC G4 processor.
Ñ QuickTime 6.5 or later
Ñ 256MB of RAM or more
Ñ 1GB of disk space for caching and temporary files
Ñ Graphics card with at least 32MB of video memory and OpenGL hardware acceleration
Ñ Display with 1280-by-1024-pixel resolution and 24-bit color
Ñ Three-button mouse
Ñ AJA or Digital Voodoo card required for previewing on a broadcast video monitor

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

I assume you have already installed the software and rebooted your machine.

1. Unzip the crack, then unsit the nrcc.sit file. You╒ll end with a nrcc_macos file, and a key.dat file, that is all we need.
2. Locate the directory where Shake was installed (probably /Applications/Shake3.50)
3. Control-click the shake application and choose ╘Show Package Contents╒
4. In the new window, browse to the directory: /Contents/Frameworks/ nrcc_macos.framework/Versions/A/ This is where the original nrcc file is located, and the one we are going to replace.
5. Replace this nrcc_macos file with the one you got in the crack. It will ask for an administrator user/password because it is a protected file.
6. Close the window and return to the directory where Shake was installed.
7. Copy the key.dat file to the directory where Shake was installed. The key.dat file must be located in the same directory where the shake application is.
8. Open this newly copied key.dat in any text editor (TextEdit)
9. Replace all the instances of ╘your_ethernet_id_here╒ with your actual ethernet id. If you don╒t know how to get it, open system preferences, go to network, open the ╘Built-in Ethernet╒ preferences, go to the Ethernet tab, and there you╒ll find your Ethernet id. Copy it, just delete the colons, and in the end your key.dat file should look something like this:

That╒s all, if you made all the steps correctly you should be able to run the shake application now. Happy compositing.
