█ The new Powergold 2000 is a product of Micropower Corporation. We are █
█ dedicated to producing the best broadcast scheduling software in the █
 █ world. That's our company's sole focus. We've been serving the █
█ broadcast industry with music scheduling software for 12 years. Our █
█ clients include major broadcasters such as AMFM, Clear Channel, █
█ Jacor, ABC Radio Networks, Radio TV Hong Kong, and hundreds of █
 █ others. █
 █ █
█ Powergold 2000 is an intelligent and powerful 32-bit software █
█ application that automatically creates daily audio schedules. It may █
█ be used at any facility that broadcasts music, such as radio █
█ stations, cable music channels, or internet radio stations. █
 █ █
█ Songs are scheduled properly with built-in and user-defined rules. █
█ Yesterday Offset, for example, makes sure no song plays too close to █
█ the time it played yesterday. Among many other things, Powergold 2000 █
█ enables you to categorize songs and control how frequently each song █
 █ will be scheduled. █
 █ █
█ Easy connectivity with traffic and digital audio systems is part of █
█ the package. Along with scheduling the music, tempo-matched jingles, █
█ voice tracks, and automation commands in Powergold 2000, we can also █
█ import commercial schedules from your traffic and billing system, at █
█ no extra cost, to provide a complete schedule of all audio events at █
█ your broadcast facility. We work as a terrific front end for all █
█ digital audio players that interface with professional music █
 █ scheduling software. █
 █ █
█ Powergold 2000 software has been in rigorous, reliable, daily use at █
█ hundreds of broadcast facilities for the past two years, successfully █
█ meeting widely differing programming needs worldwide. We accept no █
█ bugs at all, so you are assured a perfect work experience with █
█ Powergold 2000. We never stop developing ways to make your life █
█ easier. This is our life's work and passion. █
 █ █
 █ Version 5.01 █
 █ █
█ Automatic data conversion will upgrade your database to version 5 at █
 █ startup and/or upon restoring a backup from a previous version. █
 █ █
█ Because we moved our Powergold 2000 file to a new web server, █
█ previous versions of the Internet Tools are no longer able to █
█ download Powergold 2000 upgrades. An update to the Internet Tools is █
 █ included with 5. █
 █ █
█ NEW - Added ability to lock any non-administrative user out of any of █
█ the nine major areas of Powergold 2000; Music Library, Category █
█ Editor, Property Editor, Clock Editor, Schedule Editor, Analysis, █
█ Automation, Print, and Backups. This new security control is located █
 █ in View | Settings | Environment | Passwords & Permissions. █
 █ █
█ NEW - Added several new Replace options in the Schedule Editor to █
█ make it easy to create or complete two-fers or other artist blocks by █
█ hand. All of these are available in the right click menu under █
█ Replace, or by the keyboard shortcuts listed below. █
 █ █
█ The "1" key instantly brings up a list of all songs with the same █
█ Artist Display Text as the previous position, in most rested order. █
 █ █
█ "Shift 1" instantly lists all songs from all artists in the previous █
█ position's Artist Separation List, in most rested order. █
 █ █
█ The following two new keys make it easy to find a replacement song █
█ based on the artist in the current position. █
 █ █
█ "Ctrl-A" lists all songs with the same Artist Display Text as the █
█ current position, in most rested order. █
 █ █
█ "Shift-A" lists all songs from all artists in the current position's █
█ Artist Separation List, in most rested order. █
 █ █
█ There are now 11 different ways to replace in the Schedule Editor. █
█ Right click and choose Replace to see a list of all 11 replace █
█ options and the keyboard shortcuts for each. █
 █ █
█ MODIFIED - The shortcut to run the Auto-Editor has been changed to █
█ F3. The previous key, Ctrl-A, brings up a list of replacement songs █
█ with the same Artist Display Text as the current song, as described █
 █ earlier. █
 █ █
█ NEW - The Replace windows and the History window now automatically █
█ display the closest plays of the song currently highlighted. It █
█ displays the offset of the same song ahead and behind of the current █
█ position in the Schedule Editor. This is vital information that can █
█ be seen at a glance when considering replacement songs. █
 █ █
█ NEW - Added sticky column widths to the Violation box in the Replace █
█ window. You can also sort by the columns in the Violation box by █
█ clicking on the column header. Clicking a second time reverse sorts █
█ the field. A good idea is to sort on Points, from most to least, so █
█ the violations with the most points are listed first. This makes it █
█ easy to see important problems. Your sort choice is sticky. We also █
█ added a "splitter" bar that lets you change the height of the █
█ Violation box in the Replace window. Just move your mouse to the █
█ bottom of the Violation box and your mouse cursor will change shape, █
█ then just hold down your left mouse button and drag up to shrink, or █
█ down to expand the Violation window. █
 █ █
█ NEW - The History window ("H") in the Schedule Editor can show artist █
█ history based on the Artist Display Text. As before, it can also show █
█ song history, and artist history based on the Artist Separation List. █
█ Each of the three histories are on separate tabs. █
 █ █
█ NEW - Updated Command Schedule Editor. Added support for multiple █
█ Command Schedules. Added New, Delete, Rename, Save As buttons, and an █
█ Activation check box. For example, you can plan different voice █
█ tracks for special weekend programming in different Command █
█ Schedules. When it's time for your special weekend, just activate the █
█ appropriate Command Schedule. The Save As button lets you clone an █
█ entire Command Schedule in one shot then simply modify the hours that █
█ need changes. Added an Automation Command Editor button for █
█ convenient access to Automation Commands from the Command Schedules █
█ window. Copy any hour from any Command Schedule into any other hours █
█ of any Command Schedule. Added a label that shows how many songs you █
█ have in the current hour. If it does not match the Clock song count █
█ for that hour, the label text becomes bold to get your attention. It █
█ is important for the number of song positions in each hour of the █
█ Command Schedule to match the number of songs in the Clock. █
 █ █
█ NEW - In the Song Information window we added a Rename button next to █
█ Title for a quick and easy way to fix the spelling of a song title. █
 █ █
█ NEW - Added traffic merge for the BlueGum traffic system. █
 █ █
█ NEW - Added German GEMA/GVL Report in Print | International Reports. █
 █ █
█ NEW - Added a "Remove All Dayparts" option in Mass Change Dayparts. █
 █ █
█ FIXES - Enhanced Custom Song Filters in the Music Library so they █
█ include or exclude songs in multiple Categories better. Previously if █
█ a song was in more than one Category it would be listed once for each █
█ Category it was in, even if your filter specifically excluded one or █
█ more of those Categories. In the Music Library when a Custom Song █
█ Filter is applied and you move songs from one Category to another, it █
█ updates automatically without having to hit Refresh. █
 █ █
█ The Scheduler was still testing songs for Daypart restrictions even █
█ when the "Enable Daypart Restrictions" check box in the Category █
█ Editor was unchecked. This has been fixed. █
 █ █
█ Removed all flicker when switching from one main window to another. █
 █ █
█ Eliminated an error message that would pop up if you double clicked █
█ the Print button on the main tool bar. █
 █ █
█ Fixed a couple of bugs with drag and drop in the Music Library. Fixed █
█ a bug with Move Exclusive from Song Lists. We also modified the █
█ behavior of Move so it always removes the song from the source folder █
█ even when it is already in the target folder, like Exclusive move. In █
█ some rare cases it would leave songs behind in the original folder █
█ even though they were dragged into another folder. █
 █ █
█ Fixed a bug when opening the Property Editor. If the first Property █
█ in the Property list happened to have items in Properties to Separate █
█ From, you could not click onto other Properties until you clicked on █
█ an item in Properties to Separate From first. █
 █ █
█ Fixed a bug when creating a new Custom Report where the new report █
█ did not show up in the list until you exit the Print Reports area and █
 █ come back in. █
 █ █
█ Fixed the "stay on top" behavior of the History window in the █
█ Schedule Editor. Previously it would not stay on top of the Replace █
█ window when you clicked on another song. █
 █ █
█ Fixed a screen display problem on the Australian report in Print | █
█ International Reports. Also added the ability to exclude any hours █
█ from being counted in the reports. █
 █ █
█ Fixed a problem in the conversion from version 3 to 4 resetting the █
 █ song orders. █

█ This program uses VERY MANY places inside your puter to hide some █
█ info. This leads, for example, that if it's expired it won't accept █
█ even correct registration information, telling you it's expired and █
█ that you need to contact the author. The places used by Powergold █
█ 2000 for tracing previous usage / detecting if it was already █
█ installed on the computer earlier are: █
 █ - 4 registry keys under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT █
█ - 2 dummy files in your system directory █
█ - Several bytes added to one of Windows files. █
 █ █
█ The keymaker will take care of restoring your system virginity in the █
 █ eyes of Powergold ;) █
█ Okay, please follow the steps below exactly: █
█ 1. Run the keymaked, select 'Clean up' and press 'Do It' █
█ 2. Start Powergold, select 'Reg. number' in the keymaker and generate █
█ your registration number using System ID provided by Powergold █
 █ 3. Licensing Data Directories. █
█ - Enter your company name in the program █
█ - Enter License term (number of days to prolong your license for. █
 █ Must be less than 30000 █
 █ - Press TAB key ONCE █
█ - Now switch to the keymaker, select 'Renewal number' and TYPE in the █
█ number from 'Read this number' field. DO NOT USE Clipboard █
█ operations. You must TYPE it. █
█ - Switch back to the Powergold License window. The cursor must be █
█ inside of 'Renewal number field. TYPE in your renewal number and █
█ press OK. If you notice that 'Read this number' field content has █
█ changed and differs from the one you use when generating Renewal █
█ number - then you have done something wrong and you need to repeat █
█ Licensing Data Directories step EXACTLY as it's explained here. █
 █ █
