Be aware that there are MANY more console commands than we are listing.
However, most of them are strange Debug codes.
It is difficult to determine the exact syntax to run these other Codes and they
do not seem to "help" your game playing experience.
So, we are leaving out debug codes that we do not think are useful.
However, we also included a list of all known console variables, settings, and
commands within the file: CONSOLE.TXT
NOTE: ALL the Cheat Codes can be entered multiple times.

pass through solid objects
godMode 0 / 1 Take no damage from falls and animal attacks

showPosition 0 / 1 Display the X Y Z location of where your
targeting reticle is pointing
mod_fireCamSpeed F Not sure, but it may affect the Bullet Cam
(which shows your bullet as it travels)
mod_bulletCamFade F Not sure, but it may affect the Bullet Cam
(which shows your bullet as it travels)
mod_AnimalFreeze 0 / 1 Prevent animals from moving (they will be stuck
at their current locations)
If you get too close, they can still attack and
wound you though.
mod_AnimalForceAnim 0 / 1 Omg that is weird, try this one for sure.
Funny as hell. Oh and be sure there are some
animals around when you do it!
mod_StealthMode 0 / 1 Assumed this made you invisible (or unable to
be heard) by the animals, but it did not seem
to have any noticeable effects.
mod_Outlaw 0 / 1 Allows you to be an Outlaw and not get kicked
off of a hunt. (that means you can kill
whatever you want, whenever you want, and how
much you want. You murderous pig!!!)
DumpConsole Save all of known console commands and settings
to a file "Bin\console.txt"
mod_birdFreeze 0 / 1 Assume this causes all birds to be frozen at
their current positions, but never saw any
birds in the game
mod_enablefog 0 / 1 Toggle the fog (Night time also counts as fog,
so it would be Daylight at night with this
setting disabled)
mod_drawSpawnPoints 0 / 1 Show the location of spawning points in the game
mod_drawTreeStandBones 0 / 1 Display some sort of vector information about
the trees
game_buyItem STRING Buy an item (it still costs you money).
However, this is easier than heading all the
way back to the Outpost to buy stuff.
Example: game_buyItem bow2
game_equipItem STRING Equip an item in your inventory (seems pretty
useless since you can already do that in the
PDA with the default key 'I')
mod_MoveToAnimal Teleports you to the Location of an Animal
(seems to cycle through all of the Animals in
the world, so you get a new animal each time
you run it)
mod_MoveToEnt STRING Teleports you the Entity "STRING"
(could not get any noticeable effects on this)
mod_MoveToPos # # # Teleport to the specified "X Y Z" map location

Outpost building. So exit first.

This will change the Time to 14 Hours (2 pm)
and 56 Minutes
mod_EndObjective 0 / 1 Win the currently loaded Mission

■ Installation ■
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. First something to note. The game console displays video statistics almost
once per second (such as the Frames Per Seconds rate). This is makes it
extremely annoying to try entering cheat codes when all of that crap is
scrolling by.
So being the super kewl ***NON-STEALING*** group that we are, this archive
includes a solution to make your console usage a lot easier. It is a hacked
main game executable file to stop most of that debug FPS crap.
This is *OPTIONAL*, but we suggest doing it:
a) Always make a backup copy of your game executable(s) first, because
future update patches may require the original file(s):
Bin\BGH10.exe
b) UnRAR DISABLE.RAR to your game directory, overwriting any existing files.
Always unRAR with full paths!
2. Start the game using one or both of the following codes as the command line
parameters (arguments).
-cheats
-developper
Don't know what a parameter means huh? Search on the web.
Try:
a) Running in a DOS box within the BIN\ game sub-directory:
BGH10.exe -cheats -developper
b) Make a Winblows shortcut to BGH10.exe which is in your BIN\ sub-directory.
add to the end of the target box: -cheats -developper
like: "X:\....\BGH10.exe" -cheats -developper
3. Open the game Console:
Hit the key " ` " or " ~ " also known as Tilde.
A CONSOLE window should open with a cursor.
4. Enter your codes.
You may type PART of a command (such as the first few letters) and then hit
the TAB key to fill in the best matching command (ala 4DOS/4NT woot woot).
Also, the Up/Down arrow keys cycle through previous commands. Finally, the
PageUp/PageDown keys browse through the log of the console commands.
For most commands with an Argument Requirement, you can run the command
WITHOUT any arguments to display its current value.
Most of these Cheat Codes should be used when you have a Map loaded.
Although many of the Codes work within the Menu System, most have little
effect there.
5. Hit " ` " or " ~ " to leave the console.
