BlackICE PC Protection is a powerful tool that defends your personal
computer against intruders. BlackICE analyzes the electronic traffic
going in and out of your computer, and uses that information to build
a dynamic firewall to protect your computer. BlackICE PC Protection
protects your computer from most types of intrusions as soon as you
install it. There are, however, many features you can customize so
that BlackICE can meet your particular needs.
The BlackICE PC Protection 3.6 includes the newly integrated Protocol
Analysis Module (PAM), based on a combination of RealSecure network
intrusion detection with BlackICE technology. PAM uses a combination
of sophisticated application-level protocol analysis and 7-layer
pattern-based detection technologies. PC Protection 3.6 also improves
the usability of the Application Protection Module (APM) and bug
fixes. These features and fixes provide a more complete PC Protection
that is easier to use.
