DESCRIPTION:
PerfectDisk is designed to make the defragmentation process easy.
With Raxco's patented Smart PlacementTM, PerfectDisk can actually reduce
the amount of time it takes to defragment your Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP systems
and can reduce how frequently you need to defragment your systems.
With Raxco's Perfect-TimeTM, you can set a threshold so that PerfectDisk will
only defragment your computer when a specified fragmentation level is achieved.
The graphical user interface allows for quick, easy and total control over the
defragmentation process. Control how and when PerfectDisk runs.
Specifically exclude/include partitions, folders and/or files.
Set the priority at which PerfectDisk runs.
The scheduling feature is designed to allow you maximum flexibility in scheduling
the defragmentation process to run at the most convenient times
(whether it is a one time run or a routinely scheduled pass).
Powerful network scheduling allows you to quickly and easily defragment your entire
Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP network from a single workstation.
The Schedule Query Wizard allows you to quickly and easily find out when PerfectDisk
is scheduled to run throughout your entire Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP network.
Powerful logging options allow you easily control the amount of information PerfectDisk
logs about defragmentation runs as well as to where PerfectDisk logs this information.
The command line option allows for easy integration of PerfectDisk with batch processes.
You can start/stop defrag passes, or check the status of a defrag operation on the local
computer or on a remote computer. You can also stop/start the PerfectDisk service on
the local computer.
