WHAT'S FOLDER LOCK:
Folder Lock lets you password protect your personal files, folders, pictures
from unwanted viewing by family, friends, co-workers and other unauthorized
users. It can lock Gbs of files in a second, unlike slow encryption programs.
With a simple drag and drop, your files can be locked and unlocked with a
single click. Once locked, your files cannot be renamed, deleted, read, or
even seen. It works on all flavors of windows and on all disk drives types.
HOW TO USE:
Its effortless and easy to use Folder Lock. All you've to do is set a password,
and confirm it and click OK. This process will open a locker folder, popping
up in front of you. You can keep (cut/paste) all your files and folders in
this Locker folder and click the Lock button to password protect it.
Locked files are hidden, unaccessible, unreadable, unwritable and virus protected
after being locked. Also they cannot be found in windows "Search for files and
folders". To bring back your locked files, run the program, enter the correct
password and your locker folder would appear as before containing all your secret
files.
HOW IS IT UNIQUE?
Folder Lock is unique because it takes just a short time to lock files unlike
encryption programs. It uses a unique method to lock which allows the user to
click only once and lock all the required files instantly without messing
with different folders and files. Locked Files are inaccessible in Windows
Explorer as well as DOS mode. Even booting your computer to another operating
system doesn't show up your files. It also makes these files unrenamable,
unreadable, undeletable and virus protected.
