  required  to maintain your current weight based on your activity 
  level, age,   sex and height.  This amount for Sally is 2,135, 
  shown in the "Calories Required" column.
  
  Sally is on a 1 pound per week weight reduction plan so her 
  daily  "Target calories" amount is 1,635 which is 500 calories 
  less than her "Calories Required" each day.
