11-02-2005 Legion.Arena.Multi5-RiTUEL
* On NT kernels, it will crash at Offset: 000451cc.
* On 9x kernels (ie Win 98 or Win ME), it will cause DDHELP to crash,
which screws up all directX games. You must reboot after any game
crashes DDHELP or the PC will freeze up when you try to run another
directX game or program.
Ok, so gimme the lowdown you ask? How, why, where, when, wtf?
1. The Rituel crack is bad and is very poorly made.
2. To see this crash, try the following:
A) Launch the game and get to the Main Menu. Ok, so far, so good.
You would assume it is working? But sadly, you are very mistaken.
B) You see the 3 Campaigns (unless you have already started a
campaign, in which case you must goto Options, and then Start New
Campaign, in order to get to the real Main Menu).
C) Those choices are: Latins / Romans / Celts.
D) Unless you are using our unlocker, Latins is the only one you may
choose. So click the Latins and then the "Start Campaign" button.
E) Click the 'X' on the next 2 yellow-coloured hints/tutorial boxes
to close them down (if you see them that is).
F) "Enter Army Name", well accept the default one or enter a new name.
G) Click the 'top middle button' (the fourth button) named "Campaign".
H) Goody! If you have a Cutscenes/Movie addon, a nice movie will play
explaining the Campaign.
I) After the movie (if shown), you see a Battlefield.
J) Left-click your mouse once (to plan your battle).
K) ... drum roll please ...
L) rata tat tat...
M) Oh My GOD! You are back at the desktop with a Windows crash dialog.
N) You curse RITUEL's name in digust and wonder why no one noticed
this before!
3. The above happens with any of the 3 campaigns or if you try loading
saved games.
4. That was just one example of the crash, try starting (hosting) either
a multiplayer game or a networked game. Keep clicking around,
exploring all the options and such. Eventually (and randomly that we
saw) you will get the exact same crash.
5. Oh come on now TNT, you're bullshitting us. RITUEL rules! Of course
they have *cough* never *lies* ever been propered. You are lame TNT!
6. Hmm, but then you come to your senses and copy back your original game
executable file and put your game disc IN THE DRIVE. You start the
game and repeat all those steps in point #2 above and notice that the
game DOES *NOT* CRASH. Then you have a nice battle and kick the crap
out of the evil Roman army, advancing to the NEXT MISSION.
7. Hence, the RITUEL crack is bad. aww, what a crying shame.
8. Lastly, we present to you the only working CRACK to ever exist in
the scene for this nice game. Quality, a word that consistently
describes our work. Better luck next time 'Rituel'.

2. UnRAR the archive to your game directory, overwriting any existing files.
Always unRAR with full paths!
3. To start the game, run or make a shortcut in Windows for:
