█▓█ ░ Receive - When you receive a product or when you are ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ entering beginning inventory, record this transaction ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ type. If you have previously recorded an On Order ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ transaction, simply change that transaction's type to ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ Receive. ░ █▓█

█▓█ ░ Shrinkage - If a product perishes or spoils, you can ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ record this transaction to reduce inventory. This ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ transaction affects the calculated Average Unit Cost. ░ █▓█

█▓█ ░ Allocate - When you want to allocate a product for ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ shipment but are not ready to ship yet, you should ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ record this transaction type. This transaction reduces ░ █▓█

█▓█ ░ Ship - When you ship a product, you should record this ░ █▓█

█▓█ ░ There are two primary screens in Basic Inventory ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ Control: Current Inventory and Inventory Transactions . ░ █▓█

█▓█ ░ Current Inventory screen allows you to add products and ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ record inventory transactions. The first four columns ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ (Product Name, Part Number, Category, and Re-Order ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ Level) on this screen are editable. You may categorize a ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ product to group similar products (Category column). ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ This screen also shows you 6 calculated columns: ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ Physical Units in Stock, Allocated Units, Available ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ Units in Stock, Units On Order, Average Unit Cost, and ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ Average Unit Price. To add a new product, press the New ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ button. To record an inventory transaction for product, ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ click an appropriate link in the last column. You can ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ filter what products you see by making appropriate ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ selection from the Product Category dropdown combo box. ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ If you are using Basic Inventory Control in a multiuser ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ environment you may want to check Auto Refresh so that ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ your current inventory view refreshes every 10 minutes. ░ █▓█
█▓█ ░ Auto Refresh is unnecessary in a single user ░ █▓█

█▓█ ░ Inventory Transactions screen shows inventory ░ █▓█
