  Spam! 90% of internet residents hate it and the other 10% seem 
  to be determined to make money by sending out large volumes of 
  it. If your email address is anywhere to be found online, you're 
  getting spam. The two popular ways of fighting it seem to be the 
  War technique and the Filtering technique. You can declare war 
  on spam, blocking domains, reporting spammers to their internet 
  providers, and passing their addresses to spam fighting 
  organizations. Do a search on spam, and you will find many sites 
  which devote themselves to the war on spam. The simple truth, 
  though, is that most of us just don't have time to wage all out 
  war on spam. The second technique is to use filtering software 
  to check your email before you use your regular email program. 
  But, two bad things happen with filtering software. You'll get 
  email messages deleted that weren't really spam, and any 
  filtering program is going to miss filtering some spam. An 
  example: your friend sends you a message with the subject 
  saying, "Here's the info on the adult classes you wanted". Your 
  filtering program sees the word "adult" in the subject line, and 
  deletes the message. Lots of spam is sent from a new email 
  address every day, with subject lines like "Here's the 
  information you asked for". Filtering programs won't stop such 
  spam. There's just no substitute for reviewing all your email,

     Lots of exciting things happening here in ORiON. We just had our
     5000th release which is an amazing thing to achieve, and had been 
     done by only 1 previous group. We are honored to be one of the best
     cracking groups of all time, and to continue to bring the public our
     releases.
     
     ORiON is also about to have a birthday in February, turning 3 years
     old! We would like to thank everyone who supports ORiON and thank past 
     and present members for their hard work and dedication that they have 
     shown towards this group. Words cannot express how proud we are with
     all the time and effort our members have put towards this group. After
     3 great years in this scene , we hope to continue what we have always
     been doing, which is bringing quality keymakers to the scene. 
     
     After the recent busts in the scene ORiON is now a closed group. We will 
     no longer hold a public channel nor an email. If we do need new members
     WE will contact you.
