CCG Lite is a tool that lets you create
executables based on VAPS applications.
The input to CCG Lite is the set of files
(i.e., frames, ATNs, collectors,
channels, fonts, and so on) produced by
VAPS for the application. The output is
generated ANSI-standard C code, which you
can compile, and then link with a main
module, the CCG Lite support libraries,
and possibly user-specified modules. The
resulting executable, or object module,
is a fully-functional VAPS application
that runs without the runtime
interpreter. This executable does not
carry the overhead of the runtime
interpreter, so it is likely to require
less memory, and be more easily distributed.
