Note:
Here is some quotation from Intel support forum, for a MBA(mental below
average) nuker:
9.0 is not a beta. The way Intel handles things is that when a new version
comes out, we continue updating the previous version for a while, but only
with "high priority" fixes, recognizing that some of our customers need
time to switch versions. As time goes on, the frequency of updates to the
old version slows down and eventually stops.
So, if you're already at 9.0, ignore the 8.1 announcements.
