Improvements
- we improved the deck system a lot, we use threads now to load and read decks,
that means that the deck will be loaded while the ouput keeps on playing, the
decks are also much smaller in size this saves disk space and makes it faster
to load.
You should be able to use the old decks , they will be converted to the new
standard.
- loading of clips is done in a thread as well, playback will continue when
loading new files
- set in and out-points for effect parameters
- major speed improvements on almost any overlaymode and most effects, speed
improved up to 200%.
- shortcuts and midi keys are now available to bypass global and layer effects
- added 'clear deck' shortcuts, key and midi
- added remove effect for layers and active layer, key and midi
Fixed bugs
- fixed some bugs on the deck list, popup window works better
- resolume had problems to recognize what the active global effect slot was.
that's fixed
- Midi range errors on opacity and speed sliders are fixed, sometimes it
wouldn't reach 100% but 98%
- adjust red level disappeared from the effect list after restarting resolume,
that's fixed now
- screen setup still had some errors, layer order was sometimes not taken into
account, that's fixed
- font in dialogs (recording dialog) was way too big by some users, this is
fixed
- brighten effect was not working correctly
- fixed memory leaks, memory leaks occured when switching decks.
- when changing tabs/decks, all flash channels using vars, forgot there values,
is fixed now
- flash text in channels was lost when switching to other decks
- midi, bypass and delete notes didn't work on global effects when using a
smaller screen (tabs)
- bitdepth toggle bug fixed in screensetup
- midi, set layer speed didn't take care of the layer order set by the user
- minimize bug, if the interface was on another screen, when maximized again the
screen would appear on the first display again.
- some default shortcuts were used for different settings, the doubles were
removed
- live feed bugs fixed, now the output does not stop anymore when more layers
have the same source assigned
- audio on freeframe mixers didn't go to the full range
- dynamic preview improved on channels with freeframe mixers
- mask and transition buttons on third layer didn't show their checked state,
that's fixed
- sometimes the capture driver couldn't be initialised, is fixed, resolume
didn't got the array of available captured drivers
- in points timeline were ignored when using audio fft, that's fixed, only
inpoint was ignored
- overlaymode pinlight only worked in 32 bit mode, now it does on all bitdepths
- ctrl+O didn't move the outpoint marker, now it does
- the mouse mode of the effect params works now with the mouse position on the
complete screen or only on the ouput screen if that option is set. that option
was present before but did not work correctly.
- storing of preferences settings is improved, we hope people won't have
problems losing their preferences settings anymore
- popup killer, some popups reapeared when openening another dialogs, this is
fixed.
- flash sometimes didn't play when no audio signal was present, there were
negative audio values coming true and this prevented flash files to play.
- in and outpoints are fixed, length of clip was not allways shown correct,
espcially when loading deck from resolume 1.51
- setting in and out point bug is fixed as well, also the midi implementation is
fixed.
- screen setup, some setups (like matrix) didn't work, they work fine now.
- opacity up works again in default (shift +=) was set to Shift++ wich doesn't
work
