  MATHkbsr is a grade school mathematics tutor and exercise 
  workbook. The syllabus is based broadly on that of the Malaysian 
  Grade (Primary) School. It consists of a six-year curriculum. To 
  increase its application around the world, the software is 
  bilingual so that everything comes in both English and the Malay 
  language. The latter being the medium of instruction in the 
  Malaysian Primary schools.
  
  Mathkbsr is a software written by a parent for parents. Grade 
  school mathematics education generally starts with formal 
  classroom instruction given by a teacher and then followed up 
  with workbook type exercises to gauge and enhance the 
  understanding of the given topic. However, it is quite common to 
  have certain topics that are not so well understood as 
  manifested by wrong answers to questions posed in the workbook. 
  In this situation the teacher would be obliged to explain the 
  concept further and a new set of questions posed to re-examine 
  the child understanding. This process may have to be repeated a 
  few times until the child could demonstrate his or her 
  understanding.
  
  Mathkbsr has been written to play the role unfulfilled by busy 
  parents and teachers. It aims to explain using animated examples 
  and then gauge a child REAL understanding by posing similar or 
  different questions under any given topics and at any Grade 
  School levels. Two types of examples are given: concept and 
  problem specific. In concept example the tutoring usually starts 
  from the basic to the more complex. But it is entirely up to the 
  individual to choose which part of the concept he/she needs 
  explanation by jumping to relevant parts of the animated 
  example.
  
  Version 3.0 covers addition, subtraction, multiplication, 
  division, number series, fractions, decimals and topics on 
  simple measurements. This includes measurement of: distance, 
  time, weight and currency. This software differs from the 
  general offerings by making every question unique numerically.

     Lots of exciting things happening here in ORiON. In September we had
     our 2000th release which is an amazing milestone that very few groups
     reach. Also, we had many ex-DQF members merge into us making our group
     even stronger. Things have been going great in the year 2000 for ORiON! 
     We have become the most successful cracking group this year and continue
     to be the top releasing cracking group in the scene.
