Drumagog is a powerful drum replacer plugin. It allows you to replace
previously recorded drum tracks with a vast array of drum samples. An
indispensable tool for fixing poorly recorded tracks, or for
experimenting with new ideas, Drumagog makes bad drum tracks a thing
of the past. Drumagog includes advanced features like:
256-note Polyphony: Drumagog never misses a beat. With 256-note
polyphony, even fast drum-rolls are faithfully reproduced.
Dynamic and Random Multisamples: Drumagog can use drum samples that
are recorded at eight different volume levels. When using Drumagog,
the appropriate sample is chosen, to closely match the volume of the
original instrument. This is called Dynamic Multisampling. In
addition, Drumagog can also use three sets of these eight volume
samples, and randomly pick a different set for each drum hit. This is
called Random Multisampling. Combining the two multisample modes
sounds so real, you'd swear it was recorded that way! Even when
replacing a drum-roll at a constant volume, the samples don't sound
fake - they sound alive.
Stealth Mode: Drumagog introduces an innovative feature called
Stealth Mode. This mode allows Drumagog to pass through all the audio
in a track unchanged, until it triggers. This is very useful for
tracks that have other instruments recorded on them, like a snare drum
track that was also used to record the hi-hat. When Stealth Mode is
enabled, the hi-hat would pass through unchanged, but the snare drum
would be replaced.
Pre-trigger Filtering: Sometimes a drum track contains bleed from
other instruments that could cause false-triggering. Drumagog's
Pre-trigger Filtering allows you to remove this unwanted audio before
triggering. This is great for removing bleed from a bass drum when
replacing a snare drum track or vice-versa.
Pitch Control: Drumagog allows real-time pitch adjustment of the drum
samples. Great for tuning the drums to the rest of the music.
