This performs three significant functions with CDs and audio files:
It rips tracks from audio CDs, it converts audio files between
various formats, and it creates audio CDs from WAV and MP3 files.
It has a built-in audio player that lets you listen to your audio
files. When ripping audio CDs, this program can output the data
into MP3, Windows Media Audio 8, Ogg Vorbis, Monkey's Audio, WAV
and AIFF file formats. It supports audio file encoding at bit rates
from 8Kbps all the way up to 320Kbps. It also uses the freedb
database to retrieve song information for the tracks on the CD that
you are ripping.
This tool can even normalize track volumes and delete silence from
the beginning or the end of a track.
