║ The Geographic Transformer Extension for MapInfo Professional brings ║
║ the rigorous reprojection technique of the Geographic Transformer to ║
║ the MapInfo desktop. ║

║ Currently, in MapInfo Professional, orthographic imagery is ║
║ automatically reprojected, however, the built-in reprojection ║
║ technique has difficulty handling images with multiple coordinate ║
║ system information. When merging images in MapInfo, this can create ║
║ a raster layer with misaligned roads and features that is not usable ║
║ as a base map. The Geographic Transformer Extension for MapInfo uses ║
║ a much more rigorous reprojection technique that virtually ║
║ guarantees accurate image reprojection. ║
