Rummy is a card game of combination, strategy and a little luck, for
2 or more players. The goal of the game is to get rid of all your
cards as quickly as possible, by playing them in groups on the table
according to specific rules. Many variations of Rummy exist. The more
interesting ones allow you to manipulate cards that already on the
table, in order to create new possibilities to play your cards. Tile
Rummy is a variation played with tiles with colored numbers, instead
of ordinary playing cards. It originates in the Middle East, but it
is now a popular game in many other parts of the world. Most people
will know this game as Rummikub, which is in fact just a commercial
name under which equipment for Tile Rummy is sold.
