Just double-click the winxp.reg and run the patch into the program folder.
NOTE: This is NOT a crack! Cracks can be found at astalavista.box.sk.
This patch lets "FineReader 5 Pro (Try and Buy)" work under Windows XP.
You can apply this patch whether on a "not cracked" version or on a
"cracked" version.
If you have an officially registered version or a retail version you
can only use the .reg file which has been officially released by Abbyy.
This patch has been tested on the Pro version, maybe it works on the Office
