Micromal Gbox is a sample-based drum instrument created by combi-
ning various Ableton plugins/effects and which turns Live into a
powerful and extremely flexible groovebox. The LivePack consists of
150 instrument presets, 30 Live Clips, 30 MIDI loops and 315 world-
class WAV samples organized in 8 drum categories: Kick û Snare û Low
Beat û Synth û Glitch û Percussion û Hi Freqency û Hhat. The opera-
tion of Micromal Gbox is very intuitive. Simply load one of the Clip
presets and try to move the knobs in the ôSample Selectorö section.
This feature is the core of Micromal Gbox and allows you to replace
and choose in real-time the single samples while the MIDI file is
playing your instrument. Each drum part is equipped with its own
ôSource Editorö that controls various source parameters : Filter
cutoff & resonance, Tune, Pitch attack & envelope, Sample attack &
decay, Reverse Sample. The single drum parts are also equipped with
sound-specific ôEffect Racksö that increase drastically the sound
customization. The included effects are : Club Kicker û Dynamic
Snare û Sub Harmonic û Grain Room û Metal Echo û Room Filter û Fluid
Echo û Hat Modulator. Micromal GBox is the perfect groove-tool for
advanced Minimal productions.
