Yes, I know. There are a lot of calendar programs for Windows. I
tried some of them, but finally decided to develop my own one. The
main reason was I only need a calendar. Period. I don't want an
appointment database nor a scheduling application. So, I thought it
was time to learn how to program under the Windows environment, and
this project was useful enough to be worthy of the pain.
The first version of 3D Calendar published on the Internet was 2.22,
in June 1997. From that moment I received a lot of e-mails from all
around the world, and the users themselves were the primary
motivation to improve this application. At this time 3D Calendar is
not as simple as I thought when I started the project, but the
excellent comments received were the best incentive to continue.
3D Calendar 32 was written in Borland Delphi, so it's a true 32-bit
application. It has been tested with several Windows platforms,
including Windows 95, 98, NT, Me and 2000. This application will not
run under Windows 3.1.
