█ SIGuardian Lite is a small, but very useful utility for control █
█ health status of your hard disks and predict it life. SIGuardian can █
█ discover probably hard drive fail BEFORE it actually occurs. █
█ █
█ How does it work? Each modern hard drive includes self-testing █
█ routines. SIGuardian Lite uses results of such self-tests to predict █
█ your hard drive life. You can setup it to monitor your hard drives █
█ only at startup or continuously. █
█ █
█ Only one comment - to make initial conclusion about end date of █
█ lifetime of any hard drive, SIGuardian Lite need to wait changes in █
█ internal hard drive state. This changes occurs sometimes often, █
█ sometimes rare - so, it may be needed to wait some days or week █
█ before first conclusion about end date of lifetime will be made by █
█ SIGuardian lite. █
█ █
█ Option tab allows you to setup SIGuardian Lite. Settings on this █
█ tab: █
█ - ôMonitor disk health only at system startupö û SIGuardian Lite will █
█ check you hard drives only at system startup. If no changes in █
█ drives state - when SIGuardian Lite finishes. If any state changed █
█ û SIGuardian Lite displays message box and asks do you want to see █
█ info about this drive. █
█ - "Disk health check period" - if you setup SIGuardian Lite to █
█ continuously monitor your hard drives (i.e. disable - uncheck █
█ option above), when you can enter how often SIGuardian Lite must █
█ check health status of your hard drives. █
