REAKTOR 4 lets musicians and engineers design and build their
own instruments, samplers, effects and sound design tools.

REAKTOR offers access to an arsenal of sonic tools limited only
by the imagination. Instruments can be easily modified
or built from scratch , and REAKTOR 4 sounds better than
ever before. Graphical sample-management, preset morphing
and randomization, a host of new and improved modules, an
integrated browser, advanced visual elements and more provide
practically endless sonic possibilities.
Improvements in Reaktor 4.1
- New "Screen Sets" function: Allows 8 screen layouts to be
saved and recalled per ensemble. In standalone use the View
menu, or press Crtl+<1à8> to recall, Ctrl+Alt+<1..8> to
store. In plugin mode, use the toolbar buttons.
- New "Batch conversion" function. Allows batch conversion of
R3 files to the R4 format, and batch preperation of audio
files for sampler modules.
- Feedback loop prevention (see instrument and macro
properties, and global preferences)
- Plugin window automatic resizing button
- Maximum plugin window size configurable in preferences
- Automation ID management improved. Editable base ID for each
instrument, compress and sort functions. (Resolves problems
with Logic automation).
- Internal connections between modules - limit now 800 (was 256)
- New "Duplicate" feature, from edit menu or context menu, in
both panel and structure
- Module nudging with cursor keys (in both panel and structure)
(also Ctrl + cursor for jump).
- Hints now positioned more appropriately on screen (no more
clipping by window border)
- Ctrl + Wiring always creates a new port on macros
- Wires of selected modules are brought to front
- Multiple selection of panel elements with mouse-rectangle
- Create Control or Create Constant sets the Properties to the
newly created control or constant
- Improved selection behavior across multiple lines of text
- Optimize Window Size function
- Shift + F5 closes the browser
- Shift + F6 closes the snapshot dialogue
- Ensemble Properties: New "Set BPM by snapshot" option
- Multiple selection context menu entries: "Mute/Un-Mute",
