install.txt
a) Unpack the zip file and run FlexLMSetup.exe. As path for the installdirectory choose (proposed) x:\Program Files\FIDES_2004\FlexLM b) Copy fides-server.dat from Crack-directory to the directory of a) c) Now open Start=>Settings=>Control Panel, there launch "FlexLM License Manager". Go to tab "Setup" and point to lmgrd.exe and fides-server.dat of a) . Click OK. (Note: if you want to have this service launched automatically at startup, check "Use NT Services" and "Start Server at Power-Up". If you don't check them, you'll have to start the FlexLM-server manually each time you start your PC). Then change to tab "Control", click "Start" and OK. d) Now install the program. Select wished language (English/German). e) Copy license.lic from Crack-directory to x:\Program Files\FIDES_2004\fides_Shared f) Now run/use the programs. If at startup it says "license not valid" and the like, in main program window go to ?=>Register, a dialog pops up, there click "License File:" and point to the license.lic according to e). Leave everything else untouched and click "Close (use present License File)" at bottom right. If problems persist, restart your PC and check again. |
