MiniPortal is a complete solution for hosting one or more websites and web-based applications on Windows
platforms.
MiniPortal combines the Apache web server with an FTP server, a web-based administrative 'Control Panel',
a set of plug-in extensions, and many other features into a single, integrated system. Installation,
configuration, and administration are point-and-click. There are NO configuration files to edit.
On-line network tools check if the server PC and network are correctly configured to run the servers, and
a free trial subdomain can be setup during installation for live site testing within minutes.
Server-side scripting is supported with CGI, a native Perl interpreter, Apache/mod_perl, a PHP plug-in
and ASP. A MySQL plug-in can be used for database support. Additional plug-ins are also available.
MiniPortal has a relatively small memory footprint, does not limit web connections, and is compatible
with Windows versions 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP.
