Release Notes:
RotoImport is an After Effects plug-in that allows users of Pinnacle
Systems CommotionÖ to import their rotosplines into an After Effects
composite for further manipulation, and/or for final composition
rendering. RotoImport's main goal is to allow users to re-create
their splines, as they look in Commotion, but inside an After Effects
composition, using After Effects layer masks. The imported masks can
be edited without leaving After Effects, saving time and improving
work flow.
Supported Commotion rotospline features
The following features that are available in Commotion are also
available in After Effects, and are automatically transferred
upon import:
ò Bezier splines
ò B-Splines
ò Spline name (requires After Effects 6.0)
ò Spline color (requires After Effects 6.0)
ò Spline locked state (requires After Effects 6.0)
ò Spline visibility
ò Spline feathering
ò Spline keyframe render state
ò Spline fill mode
