This registration notice will help you to turn the current Trial Edition of HTML Executable into the Commercial Edition, and tell you how to access to the services like our Mailing list or technical support.

1. Before you continue

Please first print or file this registration notice. It is strongly recommended to copy it to a floppy or Zip(TM) disk in the case for example you would delete the file by error.
If you really lose your registration notice, you can contact us via E-Mail: please refer to the paragraph number 4.

2. Installing HTML Executable Commercial Edition

HTML Executable now works with a registration system not based on a "specific codes algorithm". Please strictly follow these steps in order to get the Commercial Edition.

You need to launch the Self-Updating Executable (SFU) file attached to this message: it is a standard Windows executable file. This SFU file will install your custom license file and configure HTML Executable to use it. This license file is named HEDATAL.DLL and must be present in the Windows system folder of your computer.
See below for installation steps.

* Warning: the HEDATAL.DLL file is unique and is registered to you: you have NOT the right to distribute it, copy it or share it. This file contains your registration key, serial number and other personal information (including your name, company name, address, user ID...). That's why this file is strictly confidential according to the license agreement you agreed when you installed HTML Executable.

The license to use HTML Executable Commercial Edition is granted to:

Please specify the full information above when contacting us.

REGISTRATION STEPS:

1. First make sure that HTML Executable is closed and, if you are working under Windows NT, 2000, ensure that you are logged in as a user with administrative privileges.
2. Extract the SFU file from the attached Zip file to a temporary folder (e.g. c:\windows\temp or c:\my documents). It is highly recommended that you first make a copy of the Zip file on a separate disk (floppy, Zip(TM) disk).
3. Execute the SFU file (for instance double-click on its icon under Windows Explorer) and follow instructions. The SFU will ask you for a password: you may find it below (please use the copy/paste way to enter this case-sensitive password).
Then new files will be installed and HTML Executable configured (no files are deleted). A confirmation message will finally be displayed.
4. Finally run HTML Executable and verify that your registration information correctly appears in the about dialog box (go to "Help|About HTML Executable").
A welcome message will be displayed only once: please read it carefully.

3. Miscellaneous Information
 
- As you are a registered user, you have priority for free technical support via E-Mail. Please be sure to specify your user ID when contacting the support team.
- You may freely distribute any publication you create according to the License Agreement. However you may NOT distribute your private license file HEDATAL.DLL. If you would like to redistribute HTML Executable, please use the original package you got from our Web site (HEINST.EXE).
- If you decide to remove HTML Executable from your system, the Windows Installer engine will partially remove your registration information. Be sure to make a copy of your registration notice and Zip file.
Finally, please do not run the SFU twice: once HTML Executable is upgraded, running the SFU a second time could corrupt the program.
- If you would like to receive the latest information about HTML Executable and other products, please subscribe to our mailing list: visit our web site for more information. All registered users automatically are added to the private mailing list of HTML Executable's registered users.
- By having registered, you agree to be bound by the terms of the License Agreement of G.D.G. Software (available at our site and in HTML Executable's help file).
