Beyond a simple viewer
Trix DrawingCenter grew out of requests from sophisticated
engineering companies for a software that would go beyond the limited
scope of the many conventional viewers available on the market and
provide the additional functionality needed for real-life control and
manipulation of engineering files. DrawingCenter is used to view,
annotate and print documents - both vector (DWG, DXF, AutoCAD DWG
R14, AutoCAD 2000 and HPGL/2) and raster files.

DrawingCenter drives CalComp, Contex, OCE and WideCom scanners in
addition to TWAIN. So you can bring drawings directly in from your
scanner.
