They have failed to create a fully working executable, since the file
will crash as explained below in the "READ NFO" notes.

READ NFO:
Yes this game does require one of these systems: Windows 2000/NT4.0/XP,
as the README file states.
The DVT releases crashes on every OS after a random amount of time. All
DVT did was make a .BAT batch file to run the file:
"fscommand\GameLoader.exe"
They called this "their crack".
While it is true that this particular executable is the 'real'
code of the game, there is another component to the game. The
protected launcher named "Operation_Victory.exe" must be
cracked. There is a symbiosis between the two, and what DVT
did just results in random crashing because "GameLoader.exe"
expects to find "Operation_Victory.exe" running along with it.
They may even communicate with each other.
Crash examples:
1st attempt: It dropped to the desktop at the Main Menu.
2nd attempt: It dropped to the desktop as Mission #1 is loading.
3rd attempt: It dropped to the desktop while playing Mission #1.
That was just my personal experience; the timing of the crashes
is random, but they are happening for a reason. The DVT
release is bad. Ours functions flawlessly.
PS: The game does not like when you Alt-Tab or Ctrl-Esc out of it.
It will keep re-maximizing itself to back to full screen. The
developer does not seem to want you messing around with other Windows
or programs while the game is running.

Operation Victory is a historical turn-based strategy game of tactical action
that puts gamers in beautifully rendered environments and at the heart of some
of the most challenging missions in World War II. The player commands a team of
soldiers fighting in varied and spectacular locations, such as the French port
of Dieppe, the Mediterranean island of Sicily, out in the Atlantic Ocean, or
deep within German-occupied territory. The player's team must neutralize
fortifications, work around dangerous traps, rescue fellow soldiers and defend
itself against German troops by understanding the mission briefing, carrying
out orders and completing mission objectives. Medals are awarded to the player
if an outstanding performance was accomplished through the mission. Operation
Victory provides an in-depth, compelling and interactive tactical-warfare game
experience appealing to both novice and veteran gamers.

1. UnZIP all archives to a temporary directory.
2. UnRAR all archives to a temporary directory.
Always unRAR with full paths!
3. Install the program by executing:
SETUP.EXE from the SETUP\ directory.
4. Copy the contents of the CRACK\ directory to your Installed directory,
overwriting any existing files.
5. Run the program. If enjoyment is experienced, then buy the program!
