│ Alas, we missed an odd serial number check in the multiplayer section │
│ of this game. It appears that if more than 2 people enter a game, they │
│ must have unique serial numbers. This becomes a nuisance if you want to │
│ fire up a huge LAN game or Internet session via Kali etc. Our pre- │
│ release testing of this game of this game was only done for a two-person │
│ game. Our humble apologies, but as always RAZOR is quick to admit and │
│ fix any mistakes. │
│ │
│ 'Nuff said. Unzip this replacement REGSETUP.EXE over your old one in │
│ the Tiberian Sun game directory, and run it. It will generate a random │
│ valid serial number (you may want to write it down for future reference) │
│ and update your registry and WOLDATA.KEY files. Please note that the │
│ serial number reported by REGSETUP will NOT match the value in your │
│ registry, as that entry is encrypted before storing it. │
│ │

│ A humourous side note to this is my serial number generator creates a │
│ proper WOLDATA.KEY file, while Westwood's own SETUP program contains a │
│ bug that makes the file too large. (An amateur strncpy bug...tsk, tsk.) │
