|| American designer Louis Minott first created the ||
|| display typeface Davida for the Visual Graphics ||
|| Corporation in 1965. Davida is an all-caps font with ||
|| decorative ball terminals reminiscent of early 20th ||
|| Century arts and crafts design. Davida is equally ||
|| capable of representing lettering trends of the late ||
|| 60s and early 70s; its letterforms seem to capture some ||
|| of the psychedelic spirit that came into the air soon ||
|| after the font's release. ||
