ALLooper is a piece of software conceived and created by two
professional sound designers and intended for use by other
sound designers. It offers a variety of exclusive and
powerful functions such as:
- automatically searching for the best possible sustaining
loop, plus the ability to simulate an alternating loop on
devices that don't support this functionality (see Loop
search)
- the ability to create new sounds by combing elements of the
harmonic and inharmonic content from two different sounds
using an exclusive spectral interpolation process (see New by
FFT mixing)
- the ability to view, listen and independently edit the
individual harmonics of a wave (see Enhance/Smooth and Play
selected harmonic alone)
- extraction of individual harmonic and inharmonic components
(see Harmonic extraction and Inharmonic extraction)
- automatic detection of a sound's frequency with the ability
to automatically adjust its tuning to the nearest
musical/midi note with great accuracy (see Tune)
other functions:
- normalization
- volume
- resampling
- pitch shift (in semitones and/or in tenths of one cent)
- filtering of all frequencies below the 1st harmonic
- parametric filter
- "Looop BPM machine" function
- cross-fade function real time, non destructive, with
different crossfade types and an option to specify a custom
level of crossfade-recurrence
- the program can read files in Microsoft Wave (.wav) PCM
format (uncompressed), mono or stereo, 16 or 8 bit. You can
also load files by using the drag and dropping them directly
into the main program window
