Support Manager is a windows-based application for effective Help Desk management. It is easy to
install and use and is fully customizable. Support Manager is a comprehensive and versatile Help Desk
management system to log and track calls for all Help Desk situations, including IT support, facilities
management, repairs and maintenance, client management and all other support requirements.
Built into Support Manager is a complete client and item information database as well as an on-line
Knowledge Base which will provide solutions to common problems. Incremental searching assists the
operator to quickly locate client records and each call logged may be allocated a specific support
officer, a priority and a call reference number. Clients are then able to periodically check progress.
Time spent analyzing and resolving problems may be timed (and therefore costed). Prior to calls
exceeding their allotted time scale, an alarm facility will be activated and automatic escalation raises
the call status where necessary. Support Manager is a complete call logging & problem tracking
management system, providing essential and auditable facilities to all Help Desk operators.
Version 2 of Support Manager also provides details of external contractors and service contracts for
clients' equipment
