Diskcrypt 95 Lite - To encrypt of disk, first select the drive that you want to encrypt, type in a password, and click on Encrypt. - To decrypt a disk, first select the drive that you want to decrypt, type in the password, and click on Decrypt. - When encrypting a disk, make sure that you remember the password as you will need it to decrypt the disk. - If you type in the wrong password when you decrypt the disk (the contents are still scrambled) enter the wrong password (the password that didn't work), and click on Decrypt. Next, enter the correct password (the password you entered when you first encrypted the disk), and click on Decrypt. Your disk will now be decrypted. - When encrypting a disk, you may enter more than one password to increase the level of security. For example select the a: drive, type in "password" in the password box, and click on Encrypt. Next, make sure that the same drive is select, type in "password 2" in the password box, and click on Encrypt. - To decrypt a disk with multiple passwords, select the drive, and the last password that you entered, and click on Decrypt. Continue this procedure until you come to the first password that you entered. |
