MENTOR_GRAPHICS_QE2004_SPac1-LND:

1) open/edit the file l.n.d from "\LEGEND" dir:

   change this line => 

  "FEATURE LEGENDSNEVERDiE mgcld 0000.00 01-jan-2010 0 0 HOSTID=000000000000"
    
   change 000000000000 with your real 12 digits mac adress ( use lmhostid.exe if needed )

   DON'T EDIT NEITHER REMOVE ANY OTHER THING IN THIS SOURCE FILE
   DON'T PUT MANUALY YOUR HOSTID ON ALL OTHER LINE BUT ONLY ON THE FIRST LINE!
   DON'T RENAME SOUR
   DON'T REMOVE FIRST LINE

2) double click the "GenerateLicense.bat" batch file and create your "license.dat" file.
    (a nag box will confirm the hostid)

3) copy the created licence.dat inside the C:\MentorLM folder. 

4) create/update both LM_LICENSE_FILE and MGLS_LICENSE_FILE environment variable/path,
    as value put "C:\MentorLM\license.dat"

5) run "setup.exe", choose "Integrated Systems Design: 2004 Service Pack 1" _ONLY_

6) on next tab, select the following options _ONLY_

 - License Server
 - QE2004 SPac1 (4.1.2)
 - Server Setup for Client Insalls

NOTE: If setup asks for a CD, just hit "OK", install will continue!

7) when asked, point the installer to your generated "license.dat"

NOTE: When setup asks you if you would like to install
       a dongle driver, please select "No"

8) enjoy another fine LEGEND-release!

P.S:  Incase of problem, read the flexlm manuals, u can also build server license with this licgen as well!
