InterPICS is the merchandising imaging solution from Intactix.This comprehensive
system offers powerful features that allow you to capture and edit high-quality,
digital images easily and quickly for use with InterCept, Pegman, Spaceman and
other space management and merchandising applications.
InterPICS also generates images compatible with the Internet and most Windows
applications (BMP, JPG, PCD, PCX, TIF, and Targa).
Photo Realistic Images
For non-rectangular shapes, such as bottles and jars, and pegged items, such as
hammers, InterPICS enables users to designate a portion of the product image as
background. This action makes the background invisible in InterCept, Pegman, and
Spaceman planograms. InterPICS also remembers the color and intensity of your
background, and applies that color as the background of future images.
Leading-Edge Hardware Compatibility
InterPICS allows for image capture from nearly all available digital cameras and
camcorders currently on the market. It also connects easily to most scanners,
capture cards, and camera software.
Automated File Naming According to Your System
InterPICS automatically saves InterCept, Pegman, Spaceman and other images according
to the file naming strategy of each system. For users with network or hard disk
constraints, InterPICS provides the option of saving InterCept and Spaceman file
formats at a predetermined file size.
Pegman users can save images and associated product data in the Pegman file formats,
allowing the operator to extract key product information at a later date to create
Pegman database files.
Always the Best Image - Automatically
InterPICS offers a range of image enhancement and correction tools to make your
images look clear, bright and crisp. Once you determine which tools work best for
your setup, you can program those settings to a button on the Toolbar.
Tag and Translate, Tag and Improve
InterPICS provides batch-mode translation and scaling, and enables quick
production of thumbnail laptop-size images or images for other applications. As part
of the translation, you can apply any of the enhancements and corrections. If you have
a library of hundreds (or even thousands) of images built over time, you can use the
same facility to improve their quality in batch mode.
Visual Organization
InterPICS contains a simple yet powerful image manager for organizing images, creating
and printing thumbnail image catalogs, viewing a slide show of your products, and
importing or exporting images to and from popular file formats.
InterVision and SnapShot
For maximum impact and crystal-clear understanding of your merchandising plans, nothing
beats a full-color digitized planogram. InterVision and SnapShot are add-on accessories
that allow any InterCept or Pegman user to create and print planograms with full-color,
digitized images.
InterVision Brings the Impact of Digital Merchandising to InterCept
InterVision allows you to take and view digital images of your product, and to print
your image planograms.
InterVision allows you to use many standard Windows file formats, including those that
incorporate the space management transparency option.
Learning how to use InterVision for planogramming and printing takes only minutes.
Once in place and activated, InterVision is invisible to the user except for an option
where you choose to work with images or shapes.
InterVision also doubles as a moderate quality, low volume image capturing solution.
For users who want to capture a few images a week, and are not concerned with having
a transparent background around their non-rectangular products, the combination of
InterVision and the InterCam II is ideal.
SnapShot Brings the Impact of Digital Merchandising to Pegman
SnapShot allows you to print full-color image planograms to any Windows compatible
printer.
Learning SnapShot and setting various default options takes only minutes. Once in
place and activated, SnapShot is invisible to the user, except for a section in
your print configuration where you choose to work with images or shapes.
SnapShot includes options for outlining images and depth-drawing planograms - both
critical in creating a realistic planogram for some of the creative merchandising
you can do in Pegman.
SnapShot is not an image capturing program. Pegman users can either use InterPICS
and the digital camera of their choice to capture their images, or turn to Intactix
Merchandising Services for their imaging needs.
