  Enjoy the sights and sounds of Christmas with Advent2000, a 
  General MIDI Advent Calendar. Advent2000 plays a different 
  Christmas carol and displays a different Gospel verse when you 
  click on the appropriate day on the Advent2000 screen. For Bible 
  verses, you can choose from eleven different versions in six 
  languages: Dutch, English, French, German, Norwegian, and 
  Spanish. 
  
  The Advent2000 screen features a beautiful picture of a pristine 
  winter scene (though you can change this to whatever picture you 
  want). Your mouse cursor reveals dates as you move it around the 
  screen. A left-hand mouse click will start the carol and display 
  the verse; a right-hand mouse click will display the program's 
  setup options. Windows 98 and Windows 95 users can also run 
  Advent2000 in a "kiosk" mode. And finally, all users can set 
  Advent2000 as their interactive screensaver--you can 'protect' 
  your system while spreading Advent2000's positive message and 
  uplifting music. 
  
  Advent2000 lets you play all forty-seven carols in random order. 
  In addition, you can change the songs' tempos and keys to suit 
  your taste and/or match your vocal range. Advent2000 will be a 
  pleasant addition to your Christmas festivities. 
  
  Advent94 was the world's first General MIDI Advent Calendar, and 
  Advent2000 is its 2000 successor. Advent2000 requires Windows 
  NT, Windows 98 or Windows 95; a mouse or other pointing device; 
  and a General MIDI soundcard or synthesizer. (And those without 
  MIDI soundcards can still use it in calendar mode--you simply 
  won't hear the carols.) 
  
  Advent is an annual event--a new program appears each year at

     Lots of exciting things happening here in ORiON. In September we had
     our 2000th release which is an amazing milestone that very few groups
     reach. Also, we had many ex-DQF members merge into us making our group
     even stronger. Things have been going great in the year 2000 for ORiON! 
     We have become the most successful cracking group this year and continue
     to be the top releasing cracking group in the scene.
