East-Tec FormatSecure, in addition to formatting the drive, securely
removes all data and wipes the entire contents of the drive in order to
stop all recovery tools from restoring any data.
East-Tec FormatSecure performs a secure format of any disk drive in 3
easy steps:
STEP 1: East-Tec FormatSecure will first perform a full format of the
disk drive, to prepare it for data destruction (wiping).
STEP 2: East-Tec FormatSecure will destroy the entire contents of the
drive by wiping data beyond recovery.
STEP 3: As a last step, East-Tec FormatSecure will perform a quick
format of the disk drive to remove all traces of the destruction
process.
After performing these 3 steps, the data that was stored on the disk
drive, will no longer be recoverable.
