Euklides is a vectorgraphical geometric construction and designer
(drawing) program. At the first sight, it appears to be a virtual
construction kit, with which constructions already known from
intermediate mathematics can be made (of course, apart from the basic
steps of construction, it provides additional possibilities). It is
not just a drawing program, because of its essential feature of
considering the process of construction as a system of origin of
geometric objects. A construction (for example an incircle) is not a
static formation on a drawback, but - because of the mobility of base
points - it is a structure appearing in form of a spectacular
animation. During the dynamic change of construction the essence is
properly traceable, the succession and interdependence of objects can
be easily observed. So it is a drawing program of basically
mathematical approach - with characteristics reminding partly to
designer, partly to CAD-applications.
In this way, this program can be suitable for the forming and
development of the geometric approach of students, and even advanced
geometricians - university students, or even teachers can apply it as
a help to analyze problems and tasks. For example, sample
constructions for classes can be easily printed with this program,
and the making of these may be easier this way than applying any
traditional large-scale CAD-application.
Even typographical use can be imagined for special geometric
illustrations.
In contrast to the widely distributed drawing programs, the approach
and operating system of Euklides - as it follows from the foregoing -
supports geometric thinking. Vectorgraphical programs
(drawing-programs, CAD-systems) are mainly object-centred, objects
are accompanied by a framing rectangle, they can be held, moved,
traversed etc. This approach is basically inadequate to perform those
tasks Euklides is made for.
The figures made by Euklides - just as every construction - are built
upon base points. These are such freely adapted points, which can be
grabbed and moved. (Not all of the points are base points, for
example the intersection of two circles is depending on the change of
the position of the two circles, so it cannot be moved freely.) In
Euklides every object must be built upon base points. A straight line
or a circle cannot be adapted just äin the air"; even Euklidesian
principles only allow us to adapt a straight line to two points, draw
a circle to a given central point by taking the distance of two
points in the span of a compass, etc. It follows from the foregoing
that every object can be moved or changed directly or indirectly by
the movement of base points. It is another matter, that the program
provides an opportunity for the traction of any point, but this
involve the movement of its every direct and indirect ancestor,
namely in addition to the target object, all of its descendant will
move, too.
Who do we recommend this program?
Euklides is not one of the thousands of vectorgraphic drawing
programs, but a geometric constructor laying stress upon
mathemamathical mentality, so it can be a great help to every
practising geometrician.
A wide range of people with different geometric knowledge can use it
well on their own levels. It can help primary school students to
acquain the basis of geometry, but even grammar-school and university
students, teachers, reaearchers can find the program a useful tool.
There is no need for an expensive and voluminous CAD-system to make
precise, dynamically changeable constructions comfortably and fast.
The changeability of the figures makes the guess of solutions,
discussions of the tasks, case-differentiation or the quick making of
the most properly arranged diagram possible. And if you imagine
projector with all these, you can see a very effective new instrument
of geometry-teaching before us.
With a good-quality printer more precise and appealing illustrations
on a larger scale than with handmade constructions - even for
typographical purposes.
So we recommend the program first of all for teachers, students, and
all those who are interested in geometry.

their protections immediately after they found out that

In such case bother the guy who ripped our Keygen from the
original release, not us !
