Stroika is a collection of plug-ins designed to create procedural effects.
Tightly integrated with Maya's shading network paradigm and optimized to
work with thousands of objects, Stroika empowers artists and TD's to
create complex procedural effects using familiar paradigms. Stroika 3.0
adds new functionality and significant performance increases. Utilizing
an optimized neighbour search algorithm, we have seen the performance of
several nodes within Stroika increase by over 20x.
New features include:
- Neighbour Field,
- Flow Field, Fluid Sampler,
- Sampler Deformer.
NEW Neighbour Field Particles can now find information about the nearest
points to themselves. The neighbourhood they query can either be the
particle system they are in, a different particle system or a NURBS
surface, curve or polygonal mesh.
NEW Flow Field Direct the motion of particles using NURBS surfaces, curves
or polygonal meshes.
NEW Fluid Sampler Assign Fluid voxel data using shading networks.
NEW Sampler Deformer Deform objects along their normal, tangents, XYZ axis
or with a morph target. Control the deformation weighting using shading
networks. Layer multiple deformations within a single node.

1. Copy stroika.mll file to Maya plug-in directory
2. Copy kolektiv.lic to the FlexLm folder (for example C:\FlexLm)
2. Run stroika_v3_M7.exe to patch stroika.mll
3. Copy mel files to the Maya scripts directory. For example:
"C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\My Documents\maya\7.0\scripts"
