We developed ProUpdater to help users manage file synchronization,
file transfer and file backup operations. These operations can
occur between different computers on a Windows network (as long as
the drives are "mapped" on the initiating machine) or between
partitions or drives on single workstations.
While many users will find ProUpdater very helpful in chores
involving single or networked machines, it ALSO excels at keeping
multiple machines that are NOT interconnected via a LAN or Internet
connection "in synch". A common example is a person using both a
home and an office computer with no means to directly connect them
for exchanging files but desiring that their data files be always
up-to-date on both machines.
ProUpdater solves this problem by using one or more floppy disks as
a "link" between the computers. Other removable media such as ZipÖ
drives may also be used as may any drive technology recognized by
the Windows operating system as a writeable disk. All references
to "floppy disk" in the Help file should be taken to refer to
"removable media" if you have such a capability on your systems.
Files on the floppy disk(s) can be Updated from the first computer
and then used to automatically Update the second computer. Only
files that have changed are Updated, making the process remarkably
quick and efficient, even across very large Update sets. This
process also provides the user with triple-redundant (the two
computers and the floppy disks) data backup at the same time
(assuming that the Exclude Files Older Than feature is not in use).

Note: The program (not my keygen) has a bug. Don't enter too long
names, it will overflow the serial you also entered. To be on the
