dBpowerAMP is the Swiss army knife of the audio world,
pre-loaded with wave & mp3 codecs, other popular codecs (such
as ogg, WMA) can be installed with a click of a button (from within
dBpowerAMP), in addition practically every Codec ever conceived
can be installed from [Codec Central]. dBpowerAMP offers:
Audio CD Input: rip (record) audio CDs, ripping should
be simple, support AccurateRipÖ and be able to handle Copy
Protected CDs, Audio CD Input does that.
Auxiliary Input: record analogue sound, Auxiliary Input
is able to record LPs, Mini discs or just about anything that can
be fed into your sound card straight to mp3 in real-time!
Continuous tracks can be auto-split.
dBpowerAMP Music ConverterÖ: at the heart of it,
convert audio files between formats in elegant simplicity, ID Tags
are preserved.
File Selector: utility program for selecting large numbers
of files, or folders (and sub-folders) for dBpowerAMP Music
ConverterÖ.
dBpowerAMP integrates into and extends Windows
explorer, providing useful information on audio files (hover the
mouse over one to see) as well as explorer column information.
Editing ID Tags is easy with dBpowerAMP from Windows
Explorer. Install 'utility codecs' to arrange audio files based on ID
Tag, tag from filename or to update the ID Tag version.
dMC Configuration: set advanced configurations, or ID
Tag creation options & obtain version information about each
dBpowerAMP component (Codec version numbers).
Power Pack: unlock dBpowerAMPs potential with
Advanced Options, or DSP effects (such as dithering, Graphic
EQ, advanced volume normalize and Karaoke).
