OnionSkin is an inexpensive Photoshop (.psd) layered files
viewer for a designer's client to easily view graphics while
having the ability to turn on and off any combination of
layers on the client PC, at his convenience. This can serve
as an incredibly valuable tool in communication with clients,
and they will love you for it. We realize that many graphic
artists are Mac users and are Photoshop proficient. On
the other hand, most of your clients probably use IBM machines,
don't use a graphic package like Photoshop, and might not be
able to use it if they had it. Research has shown that web
designers, graphic artists, architects, etc. can easily show
numerous combinations of images, including build graphics,
to clients by providing them with the powerful layered files
format; one file versus numerous flat files! If a client so desires,
the graphic may be printed from their screen at any time. In
addition, images can be quickly flattened to bitmap (.bmp)
file format, edited with comments via MS Paint, saved and
returned electronically to the designer. The bottom line is
that this program saves both client and designer valuable
time and travel!
Another major advantage for the designer is that the original
layered files can not be altered in any way, as they can with
other higher priced full graphic packages. In fact, designers
can use the software themselves when communicating with
their clients. OnionSkin loads large layered files much quicker
than Photoshop, even when other applications are open.

Why is there no Mac Version available? OnionSkin is primarily
designed for the client's use. Research has shown over 90%
of Photoshop user's clients have IBM compatible hardware

Photoshop or others programs that can control layered files.
We don't think that the Mac users need any help, only the
IBM compatible clients!
