GameSpy Arcade is a great on-line gaming program. But the unregistered version
has annoying ads and pop-ups. Well....... No more !
Unlike Loader programs, this patch is applied directly to the main executable
and makes it registered !
Now about this release... please read:
Well, as you've probably noticed, Tins (ehh... me) is dead. Yeah I got tired of this shit
and this release is an exception. It was your endless e-mails with requests, even begging
that motivated me to release this. But... yeah there's a But...
This patch is a No Ads Patch, as stated, no more. Gamespy realized that those annoying ads
aren't good enough incentive, so they decided to add a few extra features for registered
members. You can see them at http://www.gamespyarcade.com/register/.
This features can't be cracked. You're welcome to try it out. The reason for this is that
those features are supplied to registered users through the Gamespy Arcade Server. If
you register, your e-mail is added to the registerd list on the Server. Otherwise your detalis are
not there. When you request, for example, to get "Instant Game Patch", the Gsa software
contacts the Gamespy server, and if the server approves your registration, then you are
redirected.
The reason I'm telling you this is actually in order to answer some of your many requests,
So here's the answer people: If you want to be fully registered, you either have to buy it, or
be a real good hacker.
As for this patch in general, it removes the ads. Nothing more. The "Unregistered" notice
on the Gsa window, and the "You are not registered" stuff could be removed, But i see no
reason to do so. This is not a cosmetic patch, and there will not be any because, well,
I grew up. This just does what it was intended to do, and it patches only 7 bytes, no more.

And thanks a lot for all your e-mails everyone; your support was the main reason for this
release. And thanks for all those offering their services, but Tins is no more.
Enjoy this (probably Last) TINS release ;) I'm going to the army shortly, and I won't have

1. It is advisable to keep a backup copy of the original Aphex.exe file if you
are planning to upgrade to a new version later.
During the Auto-Upgrade, the CRC of the Aphex.exe file is checked, and if it
is patched, upgrade would not be possible.
It's up to you, just keep that in mind.
2. Unzip the patch to the GameSpy Arcade directory (usually
c:\Program Files\GameSpy Arcade\).
3. Run the patch to register your program ;)
