█ Using "aSound Recorder" you can easily record speaker
output and/or INTERNET radio programs right from your
computer. The only limit, to the length of the recording,
is the size of your hard drive. But wait! It gives you
the option of recording the file in MP3 format saving
enormous hard drive space compared to saving as a WAV file.
Ideas for use of this software:
- Record INTERNET radio broadcasts to preserve or
listen to at a later time. Create "time shifting" of audio
content.
- Record your child telling a story or experience - to be
forever preserved!
- Record cell-phone ring tones or computer system event sounds.
- Record cassette tapes as MP3 and burn to CD-R. Listen
to them from any CD Player.
- Record eBooks as MP3 then burn to CD-R.
- Got old vinyl records? Preserve them to CD-R easily!
- Want to archive radio scanner (air- wave) activity?
Connect the speaker jack of the scanner to the
computer line-in jack then record using "Advanced Record"
mode selecting to record no silence. This will return a
recording of output (sound) activity only.
- If you have a good sound card - the recording quality will
be near CD quality.
