Look 'n' Stop est un Firewall personnel.
Look 'n' Stop vous permet de contr⌠ler tous les Θchanges entre votre
ordinateur et le rΘseau Internet afin de bloquer les paquets
indΘsirables et de bloquer les applications qui tentent de se
connecter α Internet α votre insu.
Look 'n' Stop agit α 2 niveaux, d'une part au niveau rΘseau en
surveillant tous les paquets qui entrent et qui sortent de votre
ordinateur vers Internet, et d'autre part au niveau logiciel en
surveillant toutes les applications qui se connectent α Internet.
Pour le filtrage Internet, un jeu de rΦgles configurable permet de
contr⌠ler quels sont les paquets autorisΘs et quels sont ceux qui
sont interdits. Un jeu de rΦgles par dΘfaut est fourni en standard
avec Look 'n' Stop. Ce jeu de rΦgles convient pour une utilisation
standard d'Internet. Ce filtrage est contr⌠lΘ par l'onglet 'Filtrage
Internet'.
Pour le filtrage logiciel, une liste d'applications ayant le droit de
se connecter α Internet est maintenue par Look 'n' Stop. Chaque fois
qu'un nouvelle application inconnue de Look 'n' Stop tente de se
connecter, une boite d'alerte vous prΘvient et vous autorisez ou non
l'application α se connecter. Ce filtrage est contr⌠lΘ par l'onglet
'Filtrage Logiciel'.
