What is ComeGPS Broadcast?
CompeGPS Broadcast is a system developed by CompeGPS
Team SL that allows any sportsman of any outdoors modality
(hiking, BTT, paragliding, 4X4, etc) or to any person that has the
necessary equipment (see following section) to send the signal of
their GPS position so it can be received by any user that installs
the CompeGPS Air/Land BE (Broadcast Edition) version from their
home PC. This way the sportsman can be controlled as if it was a
fleet control.
Who can use it?
Any person that has any of the two compatible systems for
CompeGPS Broadcast:
* PDA + GPS (that allows you to connect to the PDA) +
CompeGPS Pocket Air/Land
* Symbian OS mobile telephone compatible (see list) + GPS
Bluetooth + CompeGPS Mobile
On both cases (mobile telephone or PDA) need to have Internet
connection and the possibility of sending data by GPRS (see
Connections and necessary coverings).
To receive the signal on your computer you will have to have
installed the CompeGPS Air/Land BE 6.01 (Broadcast edition) o
superior and have your PC connected to Internet.
