Cerberus is a security application  that is  designed to allow you to
restrict  the  access  that  users  have  to  the programs, files and
functions on your computer.    It allows you to protect access to any
file, program, folder or  even  entire  drives  and  assign  any user
individual access rights to  these  protected items.   Each protected
item can have  different  types of  protection applied e.g. read-only
access, no access, etc.

Files,  applications,  etc., that  are not marked as protected can be
accessed normally.

This version of Cerberus also allows you to protect files and folders
by encryption. Encryption and decryption are transparent to the user -
no user intervention is required.

The encryption algorithm used is Blowfish.
