    When you delete files from a disk on your computer, operating system 
    does not erase contents of these files - it only marks directory 
    entries of these files as unused. Contents of the deleted files 
    continue to be stored on disk and can be recovered later using special 
    data recover utilities.
    
    To make impossible to recover data from deleted files special process 
    called 'wiping' is used. DATAErase performs wiping according to US DoD 
    5220.22-M standard and gives you a confidence that your deleted files 
    cannot be recovered by an intruder.
    
    So, you need DATAErase when you do not want to someone to obtain your 
    confidential information.
